3rd Annual Ocean City Film Challenge
The Ocean City Film Festival announces our third annual Ocean City Film Challenge for 2020. The Challenge is for filmmakers of Worcester County and surrounding regions to shoot a film in or about Ocean City over the span of a month for a chance to win a hotel stay, swag, and a cash prize.
In our 2020 Film Challenge, we are faced with the unique challenges of social distancing in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic. So what is a filmmaker to do? There are undoubtedly many ways to tell a story through motion picture, and this year we strive to explore these boundaries. The Ocean City Film Festival is offering financial support to our Film Challenge participants this season, in the hopes that it better enables to overcome the stresses of these adverse conditions. Our criteria for these submissions is also adjusted to accommodate filmmakers through logistical limitations of production in quarantine.
Worcester County and Worcester County adjacent filmmakers will be eligible for $100 stipends upon review of their registration form.
